Adaptive and assistive technologies (April 4-10, 2016)
Course Objectives:
1) This week and next week, we will be exploring adaptive and assistive technologies. Let's start with an overview of the types of technologies that are available.
2) Write your reflective blog post on the readings. In addition to your summaries, please share your personal experience with these sorts of technology as part of your reflective paragraph.
3) To gain some experience with an assistive technology, you are going to try using this screen reader, WebAnywhere. It's web-based, so there is nothing to download. Your activity this week is to figure out how to use it, use it to read your blog and reflect on your experience AND the accessibility of your blog to a person with impaired vision as a new blog post.

Module Objectives:
- Read and reflect upon an overview of adaptive and assistive technologies available.
- Experiment with one particular adaptive technology, a screen-reader, and reflect upon that experience.
- Analyze your own blog for its accessibility to the visually impaired.
