Module Objectives: 
  1. Read and reflect upon troubleshooting basic technology and technology within a 1:1 environment.
  2. Develop solutions for common technical problems for both teachers and students.  
Tech Support Cheat Sheet

1) The following readings cover troubleshooting as well as troubleshooting in the context of a 1:1 laptop program.
2) Write your reflective blog post.

3) For the activity this week, you will create a table on your blog addressing a few common problems.  The problems are:
  • There is no sound coming out of the speakers on the student computers.
  • I can't connect to the network.
  • My computer keeps freezing up on me.
  • My printer won't print.
  • My SMARTboard pens aren't working.
On your table, include a column for the problem (copied from above), a good solution based on the readings this week, and how you might teach a student to figure out how to solve the problem.
